REVIEW: Laura Mercier Puts Caviar Dreams At Your Fingertips

As part of the Black Tie collection from Laura Mercier, there are 2 new limited edition nail polishes that I had to get my hands on.  No pun intended!  While I wasn’t able to secure the Champagne Wishes shade, I did nab a bottle of Caviar Dreams.  The first photo was taken in daylight, the second was taken inside with a flash.

Is it all it’s touted to be?  Yes, yes, and yes.  I’ve been happily clicking away on my keyboard for a week with minimal wear and tear, and the polish job also survived a weekend battle with cleaning house without major incident.  I take my polish pretty seriously to say the least.  Photographs do not do Caviar Dreams any justice at all.  It takes on shades of purple, green, and dark grey at certain angles, and is so so so gorgeous!  It’s still very shiny on the surface, applies smoothly, and has great pigments.  I’m going to wear it until it chips beacuse I don’t want to part with it yet… time will tell!
