REVIEW: Bare Escentuals Sweet Decadence EyeShadow Set

by Amber on December 15, 2008

in eyeliner,eyeshadow,new products,product reviews

The second I saw the new Bare Escentuals Sweet Decadence Eyecolors Set being offered online, I ordered it immediately.  With one of my favorite everyday shadows being Bare Escentuals Cupcake, I had to check these out to see if these were as wearable and as pretty in person.  Just look at those colors!  I had a hard time deciding if Dulce de Leche or Tiramisu was my fave of the bunch.  I thought the Chocolate Fondue shade made a gorgeous liner color and the Red Velvet Cake actually applied much lighter on the lid and looked prettier that way than it does in this swatch.  These were creamy, long wearing, and blendable.  I just loved them and these just confirmed the fact that I love most Bare Escentuals eye shadows!  The bonus little shadow brush in there was a cute touch.

I loved this review. I had given up on mineral eyeshadows till I saw these deep rich colors. Most of the colors I have found were natural tones! Thank You!!!

I love bareminerals products, and i saw this online at ulta. i was skeptical of the colors, but from seeing your preview, i love the dulce de leche and the red velvet cake! i might have to go out and buy it now!

I actually ended up buying this because I was such a big fan of Bare Minerals. I don’t use it for my foundation and powder anymore, but I’ve always loved the eyeshadows. Red Velvet Cake goes so awesome with my skin tone and I actually incorporated it with a holiday look I did for my company Christmas party earlier this month. The Tiramisu is my favorite out of the bunch though because I used it almost everyday. Those swatches look very pretty against your skin!

I love the Red Velvet eyeshadow. I was skeptical when I first purchased it, as it is a very sparkly “ruby” color. However, I have never gotten so many compliments on my eye colo as I do when I wear this, and I must admit, it looks gorgeous!!!! All of the colors in the Sweet Decadence kit are beautiful, but I continue to wear Red Velvet Cake daily. I cannot believe how many people comment on the gorgeous color! Dana Vigilante
