REVIEW: TINte Cosmetics Match Book, Smoky Eyes

Kim Kardashian, Shannon Elizabeth, and Stephanie Pratt. Those gals have their pick of any cosmetics they want. One thing they have in common is that they are fans of TINte Cosmetics! I know I’m not a celebrity diva, but I have something in common with those gals now and it’s about as close as I’ll ever get to them.

“The TINte woman has evolved into a modern day career woman. She is also an icon, a girl on the town, always on the best guest list, and the retro girl, the girl who displays the elegance and class from the past. This is the feeling that inspired the idea behind TINte Cosmetics.”

Like almost every gal that reads this site, my drawers are cabinets are overflowing with jars, compacts, containers… you get my drift.  So I love it when something comes along that makes life a little bit easier, like being able to create a complete look from one tiny little kit.  The Match Books from TINte allow you to do just that!  This is the TINte “Smoky Eyes” look:

How cute is this?  While the brushes are compact, they aren’t dinky little brushes that only Barbie could fit her fingers around.  These are pretty functional.  The Match Books come in several shades– also in “Blushed Beauty” and “Natural Beauty”.  Completely foolproof with illustrations in a magnetic case that won’t fall apart in your purse.  Armed with your eyeshadows, a waterproof cream liner, blush, and 2 lipglosses you are ready to go!  These shades allow the everyday beauty to sport a smoky eye look without needing a make-up artist’s help or winding up looking like someone punched you in the eye.  Smoky eyes can be difficult to pull off, so I appreciate these shades being forgiving.  The glosses were gorgeous on, had no flavor or scent that I could detect, and the blush was soft and blendable.  Make sure you check out TINte!
