Innovative Olay Professional ProX making clinical skincare affordable

by Amber on January 19, 2009

Back in December, skincare junkies were clamoring to get their hands on the new Olay Professional ProX line.  In a limited release on December 3rd, it sold out in 17 minutes!  What would cause that kind of frenzy?  After over 8 years of research and clinical trials Olay has the clinical data to back up their claims of making your skin think it’s much younger than it is.  Without getting all technical, a team of scientists were able to study the genetic blueprint of the skin’s genes and how the molecules interact with each other when under environmental stress and during the aging process.  The result was the ability to create this clinical skincare line that is pretty affordable for the ingredients and science.  I’ve seen the clinical data and photos at baseline, 8, and 24 weeks.  I can tell you I was absolutely astounded at what I saw with just 8 weeks of treatment, and I was floored at 24.  The products:

•Deep Wrinkle Treatment: Professionally designed for the deepest wrinkles. It penetrates deep into skin’s surface combating the appearance of wrinkles and intensely hydrating to allow the natural production of collagen.

•Age Repair Lotion with SPF 30: Professionally designed to help shield skin from harmful UVA/UVB exposure. It boosts antioxidant power at skin’s surface and hydrates to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

•Eye Restoration Complex: Professionally designed to help restore the eye area by improving the look of dark circles, puffiness and crow’s feet. Massage reduces excess undereye fluids to reduce dark circles and puffiness.

•Discoloration Fighting Concentrate: Professionally design to help fade the appearance of overactive pigmentation such as age spots and brown spots. This specialized treatment hydrates to gradually repair the look of discoloration deep within skin’s surface.

•Wrinkle Smoothing Cream: Professionally designed to help smooth uneven texture and strengthen skin’s stratum corneum with moisture, combating the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

•Hydra Firming Cream: Professionally designed to help optimize elasticity and firmness by plumping, locking in moisture.

Olay Professional ProX is now available at mass market retailers and online.  For me personally, I don’t think my skin would benefit from all of the products due to the age of my skin, but I definitely will be trying the Eye Restoration Complex and Age Repair Lotion with SPF 30.  I’ll let you know how they work out!

I Love this, I turned 32 and started to notice all the lines forming around my eyes and forehead,, after 8 weeks, I started getting compliments on how great my skin looked. In the salon, somebody thought I was lieing about being 32 and had mistaken me for my early 20′s. I have never ever, found a face product that actually worked. I dont care about the price as long as it works. I use the Age repair lotion during the day and smoothing wrinkle cream at night.
