I know I’ve talked about CARGO’s Plant Love line here before, but I didn’t have a real review or any swatches to offer.  This line is all about green glamour!  The packaging is completely compostable and made from corn, and the boxes are 100% post consumer-waste.  Here are a few photos from the collection:

Quality hasn’t been compromised in these formulations, I found the pigments to be strong for a paraben and synthetic dye free line!  The 100% Natural Eyeshadows are available in 18 shades.  Dove and Loon were very easy to work with and blend.  I also tried Peony from the 100% Natural Origin Blush collection which has 6 shades, and the 100% Natural Origin Bronzer which is baked with natural terracotta– pretty cool!  I always have trouble in the bronzer department due to my fair skin, but this is the second bronzer from CARGO that has worked for me.  I’m pretty happy about that!  The Midnight Blue eyeliner glides with no skipping.  I like how the midnight blue color is wearable and not too blue, it would be a great companion to a soft smoky eye.  The lipstick was really glossy and smooth!  $2 from the purchase of Plant Love lipsticks are donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as an additional benefit.  I’m really happy with everything I’ve tried from CARGO’s Plant Love line.

Prices range from $16-$36, and for a prestige brand– that’s not bad! Available at Sephora and sephora.com
