Review: Boscia Luminizing Black Mask

I have wanted to sit down and write a review for this product for several weeks now, and it's been killing me that I haven't physically been able to.  My arm is feeling a little better today so I figured I better jump on it!  When I first read about the new Boscia Luminizing Black ...

Review: LipSense by SeneGence Long Lasting Liquid Lip Color

Currently Loving: Gillette Venus Embrace

by Amber on February 23, 2009

in new products,product reviews,tools

I’m a teeny bit embarrassed.  I’m old enough to know better, but I’ve been shaving with those cheapie disposable razors since I was a teenager.  I scoffed at the notion of paying more for a nicer razor, versus paying $3 for a bag full of nicks on my legs.  I figured I was getting more with my money buying disposables since the refills for those pretty razors can be kinda pricey.  I mean, it’s just a razor, right?

Wrong.  Wrong.  Wrong.  I will never shave with a disposable again.  I look at it like this.  When faced with the choice of driving a hooptie, or upgrading to a Cadillac for only a few more dollars– what would you do?  I’m serious when I say that the Gillette Venus Embrace is like the Cadillac of all razors, girls.  This thing shaves so close and so smooth, at first I didn’t even think it was working!  The 5 blades individually adjust and contour while the moisture ribbon makes it just glide over your skin– you’d think you were ice skating.  While I could go on waxing philosophical about the Venus Embrace, I’ll leave you with this:  It rocks.  And your legs are worth it.

Hi, I’m Amber and I’m a recovering disposable razor user.

Okay, I need to try this! I’ve been hearing a lot about this razor, but this good review just seals the deal. I’m sold.

Hey Amber! Let me know how you like it. I could not believe that I can justify spending more than a few dollars on a razor now. I even surprised myself!

Haha! I know, once you go Venus, you never go back! I’ve been using it for a few years now, and you can totally notice the difference!
