Review: Boscia Luminizing Black Mask

I have wanted to sit down and write a review for this product for several weeks now, and it's been killing me that I haven't physically been able to.  My arm is feeling a little better today so I figured I better jump on it!  When I first read about the new Boscia Luminizing Black ...

Review: LipSense by SeneGence Long Lasting Liquid Lip Color

REVIEW: Slimpressions Body Shapers

by Amber on February 24, 2009

in fashion,product reviews

I have to face it.  I can’t blame my muffin-top on the holidays anymore!  It’s February and my muffin-top is becoming a muffin-muffin-top, it’s ridiculous.  While I know that nothing is a substitute for a good old-fashioned balanced diet and exercise, I have to do something in the meantime while I’m working on that aspect of my figure.  I sometimes wear a control garment with slacks and tops that are a little more form-fitting but they are so restrictive, I feel like a boa constrictor has wrapped itself around my torso and is squeezing the life out of me.  You can just look at me and see how uncomfortable I am.  HELP!  You might ask, “How is this beauty-related?”, and what I say to that is– if you don’t feel comfortable you’re probably not looking as beautiful as you really are.

I was relieved when I opened up my package of Slimpressions and slipped one on, it smoothed out the muffin-top and made my hips and back look smaller without cutting into me.  The hubby even said “Wow, that thing works!” and I didn’t even feel the urge to slap him.  3 styles: The Haves, The Have Nots, and The Skinny Minis are created out of an extremely thin and breathable microfiber and lycra blend.  Under a blouse they’re pretty much undetectable and aren’t so unsightly that you’d be embarrassed if one was peeking out.  As a matter of fact, The Skinny Minis style is a flattering spaghetti strap tank that’s a perfect layering piece.  The Haves and The Have Nots styles feature support for those flabby arms, and  I’m sorry… but I’m being real here and I can’t think of a kinder way to state it!  It is what it is!  These are a little tight to put on initially, but not uncomfortable once on.  I can sit, breathe like a normal person, and feel better about how I look while my clothes fit better.  I am a work in progress, and I thank my lucky stars I’ve got a unique control garment like Slimpressions to help me through this transition period!  Check out Slimpressions online or find a store near you.
