Currently Loving: Chella Anti-Aging Formula SPF 25 Morning Crema

You could almost set your clock to how much I talk about the importance of wearing sunscreen daily.  I’ve been vigilant about it for a very long time, but my husband– not so much.  He spent most of his youth on the beach and in the water, but sadly never wore any sun protection.  2 years ago he had what looked like a pimple on his forehead go away and come back several times over several months.  Despite my incessant pestering to go get it looked at, he waited.  When he got tired of me losing sleep over it, he started losing sleep over it.  He now has a 2 inch scar on his forehead from having Basal Cell Carcinoma removed and must regularly see the dermatologist to have his body checked for further signs of skin cancer.  It wasn’t a pretty picture.

Pretty sobering story, huh?  Because it will never happen to us!  When it happened to the person that is the most dear to me in the world, I became more serious about it.  So please, please!  Do it daily, m’kay?

It’s so hard to remember another step in the AM, so to make things easier, choose skincare that multi-tasks as sunscreen.  I am absolutely loving Chellá’s Anti-Aging Formula SPF 25 Morning Crema right now.  This is a matte-finish moisturizer that still provides superior hydration.  I’ve run across a few sunscreen/moisturizer combos that promised to stay matte but they beaded up and rolled off throughout the day and that’s so annoying!  I have experienced absolutely nothing but positive effects from the SPF 25 Morning Crema so far and I’m happy to have it in the sunscreen arsenal.  Even though there is sunscreen in my foundation, I will reach for additional protection because you never know if you haven’t put it on evenly.  I don’t think you can ever be too protected in the SPF department!
