A combination of stress (I’m moving– say no more), improper diet, and using lots of products has gifted me a few cystic pimples lately that my usual pimple fighters can’t tackle.  Along my jawline I’ve developed what I like to refer to as “my lumps”.   Hard, raised, red bumps that will not go away!  Knowing that Mario Badescu’s Drying Lotion has saved me from many a’ pimple, I opted to try out the Buffering Lotion which is specifically formulated for this kind of difficult outbreak.

Buffering Lotion is a sulfur based dual-phase liquid that you shake up before use and apply directly to the affected area only.  After cleansing, I applied this before bedtime with a clean fingertip.  Even though it looks white, it went on clear so there were no traces of it being on.  The next morning, my “lumps” had become noticeably decreased in size and were much less visible.  Due to the potency of this product, I would follow the directions and apply every other evening instead of going to town and using it every night like I was so tempted to do!  On my second application (2 nights later), it performed a small miracle and had gotten rid of my hard inflamed areas and I felt so relieved that something had worked for me.  Not only did it reduce the cystic pimples, it had an anti-inflammatory effect.  Mind you– this is in an alcohol base, and if your bump has open skin (which it shouldn’t because we don’t pick!), it will sting at first but it doesn’t last.  It smells strongly of alcohol which personally doesn’t bother me, especially now that I know it works.  Mario Badescu’s Buffering Lotion literally got to the root of my problem!
