Currently Loving: Mally Beauty Bronze Genius & Facets Gemlight Lip Gloss

by Amber on May 12, 2009

in bronzer,lip gloss,product reviews,self-tanner

I absolutely LOVE Mally Roncal.  She’s so rocktastic, that even if she didn’t have a killer makeup line– I would still love her.  You name the face, she’s done it.  Name the mag, her work is in there!  I love how she is so incredibly fun and personable and she just radiates joyful spirit every time I see her on TV.  She’s one of those people that you can’t help but like!  I have no idea how she has the time to do it, but this girl does it all while devoting a ton of time to the ongoing development of her makeup line–  Mally Beauty, for every woman, any shade, any age.

I was able to get my hot little hands on some of her newest products, the Bronze Genius compact bronzer and Facets Gemlight Lip Gloss.  Whoa.

Bronze Genius is the bronzer with a brain!  The finely milled powder compact has no trace of chalky texture and is smooth to the touch.  It has a hint of a self-tanner to it, and with consistent use it will have a gradual self-tanner effect.  Bronze Genius is available in two shades: Tan for light to medium complexions and Bronze for medium to dark complexions.  The compact is fabulously swanky too!  Apply this with a sponge, or the included brush.  I prefer the brush so that I don’t get too much on my fair skin.

Up next are the Facets Gemlight Lip Glosses.  These are incredibly shiny and really do look as if they had crushed gems in the formula.

It’s not really a “glitter” effect, it’s more of a shimmer with gem dust!  Citrine would be perfect to wear on a night out with the girls, or put just a little bit of the golden shade in the center of your bottom lip on top of another shade to make it “pop”.  Garnet is a pretty ruby shimmer that I took a liking to immediately, it’s the perfect balance of color and playfulness.  Kisses to you Mally, I can’t wait to try your concealer… everyone raves about it.
