Review: Lipstick Queen Chinatown Glossy Pencils

There’s a new gloss in town girls, watch out!  The Chinatown collection of gloss pencils from Lipstick Queen are super hotness… in a stick.  The formula goes on your lips so smooth, it’s like a knife through hot butter.  I’ve never had a gloss or lipstick that glides so smooth before!  You literally draw it on your lips for a perfect pout, and wah-lah.  Super sassy lips courtesy of Poppy King, Lipstick Queen’s head lippy diva!

The glossy pencils almost make it look like someone water-colored your lips, and again– they feel so great!  They don’t have any scent or flavor that I notice and have great pigment for a gloss pencil.  For something so smooth, I would expect the pencil to smoosh really easily, thankfully it doesn’t.  They also come with the chubby sharpener which is nice so you don’t have to go shopping for one… it might be kind of hard to find one to fit these babies because they’re pretty fat!  You might be able to get away with wearing this as a cheek tint too, something to think about…

Available in:

Crime – sheer hot pink (pictured)
Mystery- sheer vibrant purple
Thriller – sheer scarlet red
Genre – sheer bright orange
Chase – sheer lush watermelon (pictured)

GREAT REVIEW!! I think this a wonderful find and I really love the swatches you showed! I liked Chase best of your swatches, but I would dearly love to get ahold of Thriller! This is a new brand to me, so I will have to keep my eyes open for it. So…..I’m back from the website and found out there are only 2 stores in FL that carry it, and neither store is closer than about 8 hours away. Le pout!! :(

Oh well, still a great find and wonderful review! Maybe you can swatch the rest of the colors and I will live through you in the bloggy world.
