I'm honestly not sure! It's been phased out of the US for almost 2 years now. Pehaps contacting someone at the Max Factor parent company, Procter & Gamble can help?

Phyl, I used to use Pan Stick, but switched to Physicians Formula LE Velvet Film years ago. It's very close to Pan Stick, with a little more coverage and in a compact you can refill. I switched BECAUSE it had a little extra coverage and wasn't quite as oily, but not drying- you may want to give it a try as a temporary substitute. One thing though, even Physicians Formula has disc'd quite a few products, so the only place I'm finding it now is on their website: physiciansformula.com They have some great products, especially if you have sensitive skin like I do, but I will really miss Max Factor too!

I have used pan stick since 1964 and imagine how mad I am. This totally stinks. I used deep olive and I don't think that is even an option in foreign countries. Boy if we ever have to produce anything we're gonna be lost as a country. How sad........

So is that why I've been noticed a bunch of MAX Factor stuff on sale lately? I was hoping they were just making room for new products.

I just bought 20 pancakes in my color from amazon.com - that should last me several years. I have been using pancake for more than two decades and have always been afraid of Max going out of business. At least the products will still be available via Europe. Thank goodness for ebay!!!

Hi Mandi,

As far as I know, this will only be affecting the US market and the products will still be made available in Canada and in overseas markets. I would suggest picking up a couple and storing them in a cool, dry, and dark place to get you by until you can figure out a way to obtain them after they're no longer available in the US. You're not alone! Some of the makeup review sites like MakeupAlley offer "swaps" where you trade products, and I imagine many other people here will be in the same boat and will be looking to obtain Pan Cake too. It might be a pain, but it might be the only course of action for the time being to either swap or purchase online internationally. Unfortunately, I don't know any dupe for Pan Cake, but if I hear of one I'll be sure to let you know! I know, this is a MAJOR bummer!

xo
