2 very different dry shampoos, 2 awesome results!

by Amber on June 10, 2009

in hair products,product reviews

Dear dry shampoo manufacturers of the world,

I LOVE YOU.  If you didn’t already know, you do now.  Please continue improving your formulas and making them kick ass so that I don’t have to wash my hair every day.  You have no idea how much I appreciate this and so does my husband who is not always forced to wait while I dry my hair when we go out.  Here are 2 dry shampoos that completely make me happy– so take notes and get on it.  Millions of women are counting on you, no pressure or anything.

A year ago, you could not get me to go near a hair powder.  I didn’t like the mess and it seemed like too much work.  With a little coaxing over the past few months, I’ve been testing them out and I’m happy to report I’m now hair powder phobia-free!  For someone who used to ONLY use spray shampoos, I sure love this one called The All Nighter.

Here’s why I love it so much:

• It’s paraben, aluminum, silica and talc free
• It comes in different colors for all of us gals
• It smells GREAT– like tangerines
• The size of the bottle is travel-friendly
• It gets rid of the funky oil and puts the oomph back in your ‘do!

The All Nighter gives me fab results, I’m a fan!

I was DYING to try this for the longest time.  It’s been sold out in a lot of places and now I’m seeing it in stock so we can all partake.  Whew!  TIGI’s Rockaholic line boasts some pretty cool hair products, but I love Dirty Secret!  It works on my black hair without making me look like Marie Antoinette, smells fresh and gets me by just that one more day before I have to blow out again.  If you use a dry shampoo– let me know what your fave is in the comments section, maybe I haven’t tried it yet and I’ll check it out!

Love the Oscar Blandi one. Smells lovely! I’ve tried the Ojon version and didn’t like it nearly as much. Bumble & Bumble’s version comes in different colors too, but runs about $10 more than Oscar’s. :)

Hey Trude! I like the Oscar one too… it’s just not my fave and I can’t put my finger on why. I feel like it’s missing “something” but I do like it. I haven’t tried the Bumble & Bumble! I’ll put it on my list. :)

I am so trying the All Nighter! That sounds awesome! I currently use Stila’s dry shampoo which I love (the scent is Jade Blossom) but it’s white and sometimes I need to comb it with a fine-tooth comb so that my hair doesn’t look gray. Not a huge problem but it would be nice to use one that’s actually the color of my hair.
