The newest Essie Summer 09 nail polish offering is just absolute sweetness. At first look, you may think they aren’t as exciting as all of the brights and neons out there right now but once you get them on you might change your tune! I fell in LOVE with 3 of the new shades and cannot decide which one will be my next mani/pedi color. If only all decisions in life were as complicated! The stand outs for me are Cute as a Button, Not Just a Pretty Face and Funny Face. I loved them all but if forced to pick a favorite with my back up against a wall– I’d still say those 3! Here’s the color break down:
Cute as a Button — vibrant persimmon
Luscious Lips — soft light pink
Chubby Cheeks — coral with hints of red
Not Just a Pretty Face — nude with light pink tones
Funny Face — bright fuchsia
Lovie Dovie — a true flamingo or bubblegum pink
These are all creams without any shimmer or pearl. The brighter colors get great coverage with 2 coats, and the lighter colors will do better with 3. Enjoy! Will you be picking any of these up?
