Could you imagine… naming the first lipstick from Lancome’s Pout-a-Porter lipstick collection revival?

"Proenza Pink" from Lancome's Pout-a-Porter series, 2007

Let’s take a walk down memory lane, shall we?  A few years ago, Lancome launched the Pout-à-Porter Lipstick Series and caused quite a stir!  Top designers Peter Som, Behnaz Sarafpour, Proenza Schouler, and Thakoon collaborated with Lancome to create the perfect shade that would be gracing their models’ lips during their show.  As a result, each designer had a dedicated signature shade and four colors were born!  All of the shades sold out quickly, and eBay became a hub of Pout-à-Porter activity where some were fetching over $100 each.  Oh, the things we will do…

I can only imagine what’s going to happen now that Lancome is bringing back the Pout-à-Porter craze with Spring 2010′s collaboration with designer Chris Benz!  We could probably set our clocks by how fast it’s going to sell out.  Lancome and Chris Benz are making us a part of the magic this time and need our help!  You can actually name the shade inspired by his Spring 2010 collection and win some pretty nifty goods in exchange.  The contest winner will receive 5 of the sure-to-be-coveted lipsticks and a $500 lancome.com gift certificate.  I guess I better start thinking!

Head on over to Chris Benz’s Facebook page and submit your suggestion, it could be selected and end up as the hottest lip on the runways in September.  The deadline for submissions is Sunday, July 12th, @ 5 pm EST.  Could you imagine?  If I won, I would pass out from all of the glee.
