An Anesthesiologist's Solution To Bikini Waxing Pain

Who dreads a bikini wax?  Maybe I should ask who doesn't dread a bikini wax!  I'm a true believer that if it's done correctly by a seasoned pro, the pain is definitely minimized and it's not as bad of an experience as it's feared to be.  But it still hurts!  I've had my share of ...

Super steal: Joey NY SoBe Sun Kissed Bronzing Palette

by Amber on July 17, 2009

in bronzer,cheek stain / blush,eyeshadow,lip gloss,makeup,product reviews

Well lookie here!  This is an extremely timely palette to own, it’s the SoBe Sun Kissed Bronzing Makeup Palette from Joey NY, and on BeautyTicket.com, it’s only 12.99!  I am SERIOUS.  The retail price is $45, hello… like we need more reasons to save money by spending money?  Oh well!

This kit includes:

Bronzing powder
Blush
2 Eye Shadows
2 Highlighters
2 Lip Glosses
1 Bronzing Brush
1  Eye and Lip Applicator Brush

I think this palette is rockin’, especially for the price.  I didn’t rely on the included brushes, I’m sorry but they’re not very functional unless your name is Barbie and your boyfriend’s name is Ken!  However, I was able to create a clean and simple fresh-faced bronze look in 5 minutes flat with my own brushes and a coat of mascara.  Here’s my fast how-to:

Even if I am not the epitome of a South Beach glamazon hottie, it warms up my ghastly complexion and makes it easy to look polished and pretty in hardly any time at all with just the one palette.  It was no sweat!  I would consider snatching this one up from BeautyTicket.com before they’re gone.

12.99 for all that makeup? Amazing! This is such a great summer makeup kit. I love all of the beautiful shades of bronze in the power and the lip gloss is just an added bonus. Great find.

Yes Caroline! It’s a lot of goodies for $12.99! I always worry that in palettes I’ll be receiving the equivalent of the makeup I used to get with my dolls as a little girl, but the pigments here were strong. I only applied it lightly, so I imagine you could get really glammed up if you wanted!
