I’m beginning to think nothing is off limits to Kathy Ireland. Almost anything you can think of whether it comes to products for your home, jewelry, fashion, or skincare– she’s all over it. Believe it or not, I’ve never owned or tried a Kathy Ireland product in my entire life. When a few J du J products arrived across my desk, you know I wanted a little piece of the action. The Fresh Shower Gel and the Gentle Exfoliating Body Polish are very gentle on the skin and contain all of those Dead Sea minerals that have become quite popular ingredients in the skincare arena, especially when it comes to body care products due to their gentle cleansing nature while leaving softness and moisture behind. I experienced the Green Tea & Aloe fragrance in both products and I thought it was very appealing. Sometimes I’m not too impressed with scents similar to those because I am more of a fruit-essence shower gel kind of girl, but there was a clean and fresh element that I couldn’t deny which reminded me of all of those squeaky-clean soapy perfumes I go gaga for! Since the shower gel didn’t look very creamy, the first thing I did was give it my “hand soap test” to see if it left my hands feeling tight after a quick wash. That will usually make or break it right there for me as a body wash because if it does it to the thick skin on my palms, it will always make the softer skin on my body really tight. Thankfully, it passed with flying colors as did the body polish and they went on to make me a happy, clean girl after showering!

I happened to run across Kathy’s skincare at Albertson’s. Bought the J du J Fig & Olive Hydration Lotion and think its great.. I have really dry skin, so I’m always looking for a good moisterizer, one thats not too thick or just sits on the skin. Found this lotion to be light going on, but lasting the whole day and with a great amora. I’ll have to checkout the site to see what else is available.
