I know there are some dolls out there who prefer matte bronzers, and a good matte is hard to find! I haven’t come across very many, and one of those just happens to be the Cargo Matte Bronzer– that bronzer is love! Okay, but we need more than just one or two mattes we can count on, what about the Hydra Sun Rays Matte Bronzing Powder from Beauty Addicts? Can we count on it?
Since it’s only available in one shade I became a little scared… when that happens it’s often too dark! Let me refresh your memory, you know me, I’m the only pale girl in Southern California– remember me now? After a little light dusting with a soft bronzer brush, here’s what I achieved:

I decided to stop there because I didn’t want it to become unbelievable since my limbs are the color of Elmer’s Glue right now. It’s self-tan time tonight, more on that later! But I think Beauty Addicts’ matte bronzer is believable and easily buildable without leaving me looking like Pigpen’s little sister.

If matte isn’t done right, it can look chalky, but I didn’t experience that at all and I love that Hydra Sun Rays is infused with green tea and a blend of vitamins beneficial to the skin. This is one you can really pack on now, or lightly dust on in a few months when you’re daydreaming of July in the middle of November!

Amber, that bronzer looks fabulous on you! Now you can be a SoCal gal without the sun exposure.
Heya Charlestongirl!
Thank you SO much! I enjoyed wearing it… I’m self-tanning tonight and then I’m going to try it a little darker tomorrow so that I look like my head belongs to my own body!
