Review: LOLA Marc Jacobs

Just the sight of the bottle alone made me crave Lola, the newest fragrance from Marc Jacobs.  He just has a way with fragrance that sucks me into the vortex almost every time.  Not a fan of warm fragrances, I admit I’ve broadened my horizons lately and told myself to get with the program.  I have to step out on a ledge every once in a blue moon and experience something different than the usual “safe” fragrances I go for, clean & soapy smelling fresh fragrances that make me feel squeaky clean.  Lola is very, very different.

Lola is seductive, she’s hot– and she’s not afraid to flaunt it.  She’s confident that every time she puts on stilettos she’ll be noticed and she’ll flirt without being bashful.  Lola is playful and mysterious and exudes luxury.  We love her sass.  She’s been bottled and perfectly replicated with notes of pear d’ anjou, ruby red grapefruit, fuchsia peony and delicate roses.  Upon dry down, you’ll experience a warm blend of smooth vanilla, tonka bean, and creamy musk.  It’s a memorable fragrance and perfect for date night, a night out on the town, or when you want to feel sexy.  This is a sensual fragrance with GORGEOUS bottles that make me want to collect them and display them on my vanity as if they were museum pieces!  One spritz of the eau de parfum is plenty to keep you smelling sassy all night and the staying power of the scent is truly there.
