I’m still having fun with light, fresh, and airy colors before I put them away for the Fall, and ohhhh I’ve got some GREAT new colors to share with you for the upcoming season. But let’s hang on for just a little bit longer, even if it’s just a few weeks or posts until then. For Spring and Summer, I have loved every minute of the watermelon-tinted glossy look, it’s one of my favorite lippie looks. Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics has a super cute lip gloss in “Promiscuous” that has my name all over it!
I’m a Youngblood newbie, I have not tried the line before– but it’s been great so far. I’ll have reviews on the Mineral Primer and Minerals in the Mist facial sprays soon, but let’s check out the lip!

From the first swipe, it was super glossy without the slightest bit of tackiness. When wearing my Youngblood Lip Gloss, I had no problems with stickiness at all. Also, I think this may be a great choice for people who are sensitive to flavors and scents as this had none that I could distinguish. It has the staying power of the average gloss, feels very hydrating, and is good for the lip with ingredients like Vitamin E, sunflower seed oil, and honeysuckle flower extract.
I also had a chance to try Youngblood’s Lipstick in “Pink Lust”, a color from the Spring collection and I loved how the formula felt. For so much shimmer, it felt smooth and rich.

Unfortunately on my skin tone, Pink Lust didn’t do a lot of favors for me on it’s own. So I grabbed my Promiscuous gloss and applied it on top, altering Pink Lust just enough to be sweet and fun– giving the lip more sheen and shimmer with a slight color variation:

I like Youngblood’s finish here. Because of the flash, it looks almost glittery, but it’s not! It’s just a sheen/shimmer effect that I’ll be wearing today!
Have you ever tried any of Youngblood’s products? Tell me what you think!
