Fab Find: VB Cosmetics Be Silky Callus Spray

I do not like wearing shoes that require my toes or heels to be covered, so if you see me wearing them– I must have reeeeeeally liked the shoes, or the occasion called for them!  I’m convinced that my love of bare feet or sandals over shoes is just a Pisces thing, but it must not be because I know there are so many of you that are nodding your heads thinking the same thing.  One of the cons of letting my tootsies be free is that they are habitually exposed and dry, and if I go just a few days too long between pedis, my heels start to look funky.  And not funky in a good way.

At nail salons, they’ll usually glide over the rough parts of your soles just enough to tickle them, but that little brick usually does nothing for my feet!  I have to use those scrubbers every time I’m in the shower to keep my heels smooth, so trust me– 20 seconds of friction is doing nothing more than making me wince and giggle in my pedi chair and I’d rather skip it!  They charge extra money for the good stuff!  At nail salons in my area, it’s an additional $5-7 for a callus removal treatment where they apply a solution, wait a few minutes, and then the magic happens.  The funky junk just starts rolling off when they go over it with the pedi-scrubber.  Now that’s what I’m talking about!  But I don’t want to pay $7 more for a pedi that’s already going to cost me $25 plus tip unless my heels are lookin’ really desperate, and I pass on it more than I should.  What on earth are they using in those unmarked bottles and where can we get it?  I don’t know, but I do know I have a fab find that will TOTALLY help and save serious cash!

Be Silky from VB Cosmetics is one of the easiest ways to give yourself a similar treatment with professional results that is so much more cost effective.  For $10, this 1 oz. bottle can be used several times over before it’s empty, I think I could get at least 10 treatments– if not more out of mine!  Grab your favorite magazine and soak your feet, then spray this directly on to the stubborn areas.  Wait 3-5 minutes, then buff your feet with your pedi-sponge or cheapie little $2 foot file, you’ll see what I’m talking about.  Peace out, funky junk.  Hello smooth soles.

You totally sold me. I have GOT to get a bottle of this magical solution! I’ve tried other sloughing products in the past and they get *some* of the funk but not all. This sounds wonderful and, as always, excellent review! xo

Thanks Recessionista :) I used it again last night and gave myself a pedi, I’m savin’ my money for my vacation next month! I keep looking down at my feet and feeling my heels like– NO WAY! I could have taken my time and done a better job last night… but I am still very happy with Be Silky! I hope you are too ;)
