Sophisticated sparkle: Essie Loves Diamonds by Judith Ripka Collection

Diamonds are a girls best friend, so why not have one on each finger?  Essie Loves Diamonds by Judith Ripka is a luxe nail polish collection of 3 shades with sophisticated sparkle!  All 3 are infused with diamond dust– okay so that’s not exactly a diamond on each finger… but better than nothing, right?  Essie describes them best:

Queen of Hearts — twinkling true red
Put a Ripka Ring on It — sparkling soft pink
Heart My JR Jewels — sophisticated dazzling dark

Jewelry designer Judith Ripka partnered with Essie to create these fashion-forward colors with just enough glimmer to give all the shine I want without any glitter.  With 2 coats, these were perfect!  In the swatches I didn’t even use a top coat because they were already so glossy that the glare was hard to eliminate.  Queen of Hearts, that amazing red is truly gorgeous and to say I adore it is truly an understatement.  Put a Ripka Ring on It surprisingly delivered strong opacity for such a light color with 2 coats, and Heart My JR Jewels looks like a yummy dark root beer color even though it photographed so dark!  To sweeten these nail polish gems, Essie has placed a sapphire, an emerald, and a diamond hidden separately in three different nail polish bottles.  I just double checked my bottles, no bonus jewels in sight– I hope you have better luck!

I swear, Amber, you need to stop it with these nail color reviews. Your beautiful swatches make me want every single color you review, woman! lol :) I really love all three of these shades on you, but I especially love Heart My JR Jewels. And how amazing is it that you didn’t use a top coat? This formula is beyond glossy.
