Queen Latifah wants you to show her your persona! CoverGirl and Queen Latifah are looking for 5 very talented ladies to open for her on upcoming tour dates for her newest album– “Persona“.
Show off your vast talents, anything from singing to rapping– Queen Latifah wants to see you showcase it in a one-minute video performance accompanied with 250 words or less explaining why you deserve to ignite your persona! One finalist per tour date will be selected to open her show! The winners will also have the opportunity to star in a national print ad for the CoverGirl Queen Collection, a line created by Queen herself. Do you have what it takes to be her opening act?

UPDATE (11/13/09) — I just received this official statement from CoverGirl:
“The Ignite Your Persona contest on COVERGIRL.com is now closed and winners will be announced soon. While Queen Latifah’s concert tour has been postponed due to a work conflict, stay tuned for more information on performances and prizing.”

Has anyone heard anything else, its unusual for a contest to end with no winners announce and it has now been five months wow
If we haven’t heard back, it might be safe to say that we haven’t been chosen. In addition, I believe the tour was cancelled.
