I’ve been following along like everyone else, here’s the last info I was able to obtain:

UPDATE (11/13/09) — I just received this official statement from CoverGirl:

“The Ignite Your Persona contest on COVERGIRL.com is now closed and winners will be announced soon. While Queen Latifah’s concert tour has been postponed due to a work conflict, stay tuned for more information on performances and prizing.”

yes, they will notify you by email once competition starts. it ended Nov. 7th. I entered my video and essay per rules and guidelines. it was a successful entry i had no problems

Although the competition is over I’m wishing all contestants blessings including myself. I had to download a free file converter to submit my video. Which left an ugly logo on my footage stating it was the non activated version of the software. But I did get to turn it in thank GOD!! I am commanding the universe to allow me to win and to allow this to be the opportunnity I need to jumpstart my predestined career. Much love respect and admiration goes to the Queen. She’s definitely holdin it down for the female artists. We love you Ms. Dana Owens a.k.a. Queen Latifah Thank you again for the opportunity as well as choosing me as a finalist.
