Review: Be Natural Organics Skincare

Be Natural Organics With the amount of information regarding beauty product ingredients being made more available to consumers today, it’s only natural to take note and inform ourselves so that we can make decisions we feel are in our best interest.  Some consumers wish not to purchase products containing ingredients that are potential toxins or contain any by-products.  Many consumers don’t have a preference one way or the other and just want what “works” for them.  I’m the type of consumer who does not choose one over the other for any specific reason other than the product’s performance–  you’ll find many all-natural and organic products sitting right next to the latest clinical skincare products on my bathroom shelf.

Please know I’m not qualified in any field to make claims regarding any possible dangers of using products with parabens and other potential toxins, nor am I endorsing any claims regarding the safety of product ingredients.  Any statements regarding product safety are the responsibility of the brands themselves.  With that out of the way, I wanted to share my experiences with a skincare line that’s new to me– Be Natural Organics.

Using premium essential oils, plant extracts, and natural actives to formulate a line of high-performance botanically active skincare, Be Natural Organics is a favorite among skincare professionals and those who choose toxin and chemical free ingredients for their skincare needs.  My introduction to the line began with a collection of products for normal skin, here were my thoughts!

Rose Hip Seed Facial Cleanser & Eye Makeup Remover — Effective at taking the grime away from my day and removing my eye makeup as well, this great-smelling vegetable glycerin based cleanser worked into a nice lather.  Even though it’s full of hydrating and conditioning extracts and essential oils, I found that if I wasn’t quick to follow up with moisturizer– my skin felt a little tight.  However, my skin felt back to normal and satisfied once moisturizer was applied.

Daily Botanical Enzyme Peel — I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: I’ve never met a lactic acid I didn’t love!  When it comes to my skin’s needs, I can think of few ingredients more effective than lactic acid enzymes to increase my cellular turnover, get my skin’s blood pumping, and keep it looking bright and healthy.  You know that dull grey cast your skin can get sometimes?  If I’m using an enzyme peel like this one, that’s not a problem!  I applied this in a thin layer after cleansing and allowed it to dry both AM & PM with no irritation but felt a slight tingle– common with enzyme peels.  You can rinse once it’s dry if you desire, but I chose to spray the CoQ10 Balancing Mist instead which you can also do.  This is the hero product of the line to me!

CoQ10 Balancing Mist — This aloe-based mist helps restore the pH balance of your skin after cleansing or using the Daily Botanical Enzyme Peel and smells great!  Orange flower neroli, chamomile, and a proprietary blend of essential oils brought a sense of calm to my skin… and mind!  This is perfect for spritzing throughout the day to give your skin a drink of moisture with antioxidant protection.

Sea Kelp Moisturizer – Ideal for even sensitive skin types, a potent blend of antioxidants, proteins, and vitamins completely absorbed into my skin and left it feeling soft and supple.  Due to the lack of sunscreen protection, I chose to only use this in the evening but I felt it would be great during the day because it didn’t seem as though it would make my foundation migrate.  Layering an additional sunscreen isn’t ideal for me on a personal level, but this could be suitable daytime hydration for those who wish to apply sunscreen in addition.  It smells fabulous, likely due to the red raspberry seed oil along with lemon and maple sugar extracts if I had to guess!

After my Be Natural Organics experience, I would definitely give their other products a shot, I’m really in love with the enzyme peel, that’s for sure!  I may need to alternate cleansers or possibly try their Deep Cleansing Oil Treatment & Eye Makeup Remover instead to see if I can eliminate that temporary tightness I was experiencing.  But these do meet my expectations!

An editorial sample was provided to me by the company and was evaluated to determine my opinion of the products in this post.  Please see my Disclosures page for further information regarding my policies for using press samples.
