I think we’re all game for a little happiness, right? bareMinerals delivers it in this Sephora-exclusive collection for just $54– small price to pay for such beauty loot-haul joy! Happiness is loaded with 9 new products for a perfectly natural color palette I think anyone can wear. I would be pretty surprised if you couldn’t wear the look you’ll achieve with the step-by-step instructions for Happiness– and worst case scenario, you’ve just inherited several new pretty shades to incorporate in to your existing stash.
The Happiness Collection includes:
• bareMinerals Euphoria Eyecolor (creamy peach)
• bareMinerals Happiness Eyecolor (shimmering cinnamon)
• bareMinerals Hallucinate Liner Shadow (midnight violet)
• bareMinerals Glee Radiance (sunkissed rose)
• Berry Rush 100% Natural Lip Gloss (berry mauve)
• bareMinerals Flawless Definition Mascara (black)
• Double-ended Tapered Shadow Brush
• Feather Light Brush
• Faux-croc clutch
I’m love, love, LOVING this collection right now! Glee Radiance rocks my socks, it’s such a beautiful cheek color or highlighter. It can also multi-task as an eyeshadow and looks truly gorge when applied just on the lid! Another thing I tried with Glee Radiance was taking a very small amount (and I mean VERY small) and dabbing it over a boring clear lip balm to make my own hydrating lip color. Here’s a closer look at the eyeshadows and Glee Radiance:
The midnight blue/violet hue of Hallucinate is an easy way to incorporate a little sass into traditional eyes looks since it’s so easy to use as a liner. I prefer it smudged (dry) along the top lash-line for day, but you get to make the rules with that! *wink* The color intensity is definitely brought out if you apply Hallucinate wet as a liner first, and then smudge just a bit more on top of that with a dry brush. I LOVE the bareMinerals Heavenly Liner Blending Brush (not included) for that very purpose! If you prefer to smudge dry shadow on as liner– you should check out that brush, I use it ALL THE TIME. A perk I don’t want to forget is that the eye and cheek colors inside this kit are infused with Happybelle, a complex containing a natural plant extract believed to mimic the effect of endorphins and induce a sense of happiness. Either Happybelle works, or I’m just plain giddy about wearing this collection to begin with. I win!
Happiness keeps getting better, the Berry Rush gloss (like the other shades of 100% Natural Lipgloss) smells and tastes like a glazed donut. Can I please just say– YUM? Berry Rush is a neutral sparkling mauve that looks fab on it’s own or over a berry-colored lipstick. I love how it’s a nice and polished look without being too “done up”. That’s one of my fave looks in the world.
But really, one of the things that makes me giddy about the Happiness Collection is the chance to win a lifetime supply of bareMinerals Foundation and brushes, a prize worth $6,480!!! Inside the new holiday kits (Happiness Collection, Surprise Collection, Jewel Collection), you’ll find a special “Get Lucky” ticket. Each ticket will be encoded with a special 7-digit number. On December 25th, 2009, 3 lucky winning tickets will have their numbers posted on the Bare Escentuals website. Good luck!
