5 Best Candles For Your Holiday Hostess!

in fun stuff,product reviews

As you head off to your holiday parties, don’t forget the hostess with the mostest!  You know from your past experiences of playing hostess that it can be pretty stressful, and little gifts are thoughtful ways to show your appreciation for their hospitality.  It can be kind of tricky, but the one-size-fits-all gift that’s sure to be enjoyed is a nice specialty candle.  Here are a few I’ve rounded up that are sure to be hits, and you’ll be invited again next year for sure!

Wen Fig Candle

Wen Fig Soy Wax Candle* — The fig fragrance from Wen is AMAAAAZING!  It’s sweet, fruity, fresh, and so yummy that you wish you could take a bite.  Soy burns longer and cleaner than paraffin wax candles to make a long-lasting gift that keeps on giving.

Roland Pine Pure Soy Candle

The Soap & Paper Factory Roland Pine Soy Candle — You know how some pine candles can be too overpowering or masculine and make you say “no thanks”?  This one from The Soap & Paper Factory does pine right!  Just enough pine with a little bit of fresh dew will make your hostess (or host) enjoy the holidays in a festive & fresh mood.

dermalogica Stress Relief Candle

Dermalogica Give Glow Stress Relief Candle* — All of the holiday hustle and bustle will make anyone appreciate this!  A soothing blend of lavender, lemon, eucalyptus, rosemary, and green tea make for a tranquil, spa-like fragrance.  You may even want to snag one of these for yourself, it’s that good.

Aeto Botanica

Aeto Botanica Wellness Candle — This unique warm and earthy myrrh candle creates an ambiance of wellness and relaxation.  When the candle has cooled after burning, you can actually use it as a body moisturizer since it’s rich in olive oil!

Candele da Viaggio

Candele De Viaggio Travel Candle Set – Tocca fragrances are truly beautiful and long-lasting.  This travel votive set includes four candles in popular Tocca scents: Stella (blood orange), Tahiti (tiare flower & coconut), Yma (guava & citrus), and Isabella (fresh watermelon) with a Tocca box of matches.  My personal long-time Tocca faves are Stella and Isabella!

Ooo, we love candles as hostess or last minute gifts/ stocking stuffers (seriously, who doesn’t love a NICE candle?!). I haven’t heard of a few of those you listed, I’m going to have to check them out and stock up our store!!

Doesn’t Wen make hair products, too?

How nice. Nothing like a good clean strong scented candle for an excellent gift.

Hi Mary & Mia :)

I’m glad you like them too! And Wen does make hair products too– the candles smell JUST like the products ;)
