Holiday Steals I Found At Marshalls!

The last shopping weekend before Christmas has come and gone, and shipping prices on most sites are increased if you want to get that perfect gift in your hands in time to place under the tree.  It’s time to hit the pavement and head out into the stores now to score last-minute deals, and believe me–there are plenty out there!  As much as I wish that I had a money tree this year, I recently paid a friendly visit to my local Marshalls instead and found truly awesome steals.  My pal, the Recessionista over at Nouveau Cheap shared what was in-store at her local San Diego-area Marshalls store and I have to say I actually got a little jealous–they had Philosophy stuff there!  I didn’t come across any Philosophy at my Los Angeles-area store, but here’s what I was able to find:

• Beauty product gift sets from Burt’s Bees, The Body Shop, Rusk, CHI, Ahava, American Crew, Nicole by OPI, and more!

• Men’s and Women’s designer fragrances like Lovely from Sarah Jessica Parker, Vera Wang Princess, Michael Kors, Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio, and Harajuku Lovers.

• Accessories galore–the cutest scarves, pashminas, and gloves to stay warm.

• Designer handbags and wallets

• Amazing housewares and Yankee Candles that knocked my socks off!

I cannot confirm or deny what gifts were or were not purchased until Santa arrives (*hee hee*), but what I can tell you is that I paid less than half of what I would have paid elsewhere for my entire purchase.  I even picked up the SOFTEST micro-fleece blanket for only $12.99 and I could kick myself for not buying several of them for our bed in different colors.  Oh well…guess I’ll have to go back!
