Review: Bioelements Gentle Creme Eye Makeup Remover

by Amber on December 27, 2009

in eye cream,eyeliner,makeup,product reviews,skincare

Well hello dolls, happy holidays!  I’ve been away being all merry and Christmas-y, it was a beautiful holiday–I hope yours was too if you celebrate.  If it’s not something you celebrate, I hope your holiday was a special one indeed!  Now let’s get down to business…

Being all festive usually calls for a little more “oomph” in my eye makeup than usual, and it also requires a gentle eye makeup remover to de-gunk myself before bedtime.  The more eyeshadow and mascara the merrier, right?  I put Bioelements Gentle Creme Eye Makeup Remover to the ultimate challenge last week to see if it would live up to my dire needs–here’s what I experienced:

I typically find that a dual-phasic or oil-based eye makeup remover works best for me (like Lancome BI-FACIL), but for a cream-based eye makeup remover, Bioelements does a great job!  It’s extremely gentle, I didn’t have to tug around my eyes, and it didn’t sting at all.  Due to the botanical extracts in the formula, it’s almost like I was removing my eye makeup with a great eye cream!  It’s so delicate, hydrating, and soothing.  Without a doubt, the Gentle Creme Eye Makeup Remover took away all of my Urban Decay 24/7 waterproof eyeliner but I’m not 100% sure it will eliminate all traces of waterproof mascara since I’m fresh out of any waterproof mascaras to test it with.  If you have any experience in that department, please do share and let us know!
