I have to agree with you, Shannon, practice practice practice! I was so eager when my system finally arrived, I ripped open the box and immediately started playing with it! Wow I made myself look like a clown! I decided the best thing would be to watch the DVD! What a difference my second attempt was a complete success! I highly recommend watching the DVD first it explains a lot! As for the foundation I use about 8-9 drops for coverage! But I really love my platinum system! I agree that it definitely takes more drops of product than described in the video, and it does take getting used to, but so far I love it. I am no makeup artist by any means but practicing with it helps alot. I have already gotten alot of compliments on my makeup so, for me, it was very worth it. I agree that the unit is kind of bulky and cannot decide if it is the fault of the unit or the shape of the case. I also agree that you need to use more drops of product than indicated in the instructional video.
