EcoTools 6 Piece Eye Brush SetWith all of the consistently favorable reviews out there of the EcoTools line of makeup brushes, you’d think I’d be all over it by now.  With a few new additions to the eco-conscious brand for 2010, I’m officially broken in!  It’s about time…

A little quick background on EcoTools just in case you’re not already familiar–it’s an extremely affordable collection of easy-to-use makeup tools manufactured with Mother Nature in mind.  The brand uses bamboo, recycled materials like steel, aluminum, and plastic, soybean oil, crushed walnuts, and non-toxic inks.  They’re also members of 1% For The Planet, an alliance of businesses donating at least 1% of their annual sales to environmental organizations.  And now…a glimpse of one of the new items!

EcoTools Bamboo Eye Brush Set

The Bamboo 6-Piece Eye Brush Set retails for $7.99 (WHAT?) and includes:

• Large Eye Brush
• Angled Crease Brush
• Petite Eye Shading Brush
• Highlighting Brush
• Smudge Brush
• Cosmetic Case with Mirror

This set is not only cute–but functional too!  The bristles aren’t scratchy or low-quality, they’re cruelty-free taklon fiber and so, so soft.  The set is also compact and perfect for stashing in your makeup bag, as you can see it fits in the palm of my hand!

Also, I wanted to alert you that EcoTools now has a great series of quick how-to videos featuring celebrity makeup artist Meredith Baraf, check them out!  I’m not really all that great at keeping secrets, but you never know–there could be a great giveaway opportunity this week, and these videos will help your chances…I told you I wasn’t very good at secrets!

Hey Zel,

At least you experienced the line before I did! I’ve been seeing rave after rave about their brushes for about 2 years now…does that qualify me as a procrastinator, or what? I feel like a dunce ;) I hope you find your set!
