Earlier this week, I shared swatches of the first six shades in the OPI Hong Kong Collection–are you ready to see the rest?
A quick refresher on all 12 shades and their descriptions from OPI:
Hot & Spicy — A sizzling coral that’s a kung pao wow!
A Good Man-darin is Hard to Find — But you’ve found it in this zesty red-orange!
Red My Fortune Cookie — And this rich red is in my future.
Chop-sticking to My Story — I mean it, “pick up” this warm caramel shade!
Bling Dynasty — A char – “ming” gold that shimmers and glimmers.
Jade is the New Black — This vibrant green is the new fashion vibe.
Pearl of Wisdom — Smart girls choose this lustrous pearl shade.
Panda-monium Pink — Lend a panda a handa-in this uproarious light pink.
Lucky Lucky Lavender — Be pretty and prosperous in this luscious light purple.
Dim Sum Plum — A berry delectable delicacy.
Meet Me on the Star Ferry — A Kowloon-lit moonlit violet.
Suzi Says Feng Shui — A serene cobalt blue to balance your yin yang.
Lucky Lucky Lavender and Panda-Monium Pink are nice and creamy lavenders, despite Panda-Monium Pink being called “pink”. At least in my eyes, it’s more purple than pink, but pinker than Lucky Lucky Lavender. I hope that makes at least some sense! Meet Me On The Star Ferry is more gorgeous in person than the camera can pick up, little flecks of color really pop through once applied!
I’m so happy with Pearl of Wisdom that I have to jump right to it, I’m typically not one to gravitate towards anything white, frosty, or pearly, but this is just beautiful! If you have a chance, pick up the bottle and hold it at different angles–it really gives off some great tones! Bling Dynasty could be a good one to have, especially if you like to do a lot of nail art–for a gold I found it to layer on some strong color, golds tend to need several layers. But not Bling Dynasty! Chop-sticking To My Story was more pumpkin than caramel to me, what do you think?
