First–I have to give congrats where they’re due! Representing Team USA in the women’s downhill, Lindsey Vonn just earned Olympic gold with fellow teammate, Julia Mancuso following closely behind, grabbing a silver medal! Pegged as the gold medal fave for Vancouver’s 2010 Winter Games, Vonn brings it home despite battling a badly bruised shin. The tough and beautiful 25 year-old who earned her very first Olympic gold today, finished with a time of one minute 44.19 seconds.
