I know the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics ended a few days ago, and not that I’m bragging…but Team USA cleaned up pretty darn good with 37 medals!  Team USA consists of some of the best athletes in the world, and the female Olympians have a few beauty faves to get them through their crazy schedules and winter weather conditions.  And I have to get this in there–don’t let their athletic apparel fool you…they’re all quite gorgeous underneath those ski masks and helmets!

Short-track speed skater Allison Baver brought home bronze in the 3,000 meter relay at the winter games, but also spent some time touching up in the P&G Beauty & Grooming Salon and Spa in Vancouver.  It looks like she’s using CoverGirl’s Shine Blast Lip Gloss.  Call me crazy here, but if I had to guess–my eyes tell me she’s using the shade “Gleam” which is one of my personal faves!

So now we know Allison is a girlie girl under all that gear, but she considers an antiperspirant with guts to be an essential when she’s competing!

“Antiperspirant is a must-have for Olympic athletes,” Baver says. “Keeping cool and fresh with Secret Clinical Strength Sport gives me confidence that I can be dry and comfortable all day long.”

Ice dancer Tanith Belbin loves the same razor I do, the Venus Embrace!

“A great razor like Venus Embrace is a must for figure skaters,” Belbin says. “A close shave keeps me feeling confident and when I step out on the ice.”

Vonetta Flowers was the first African-American woman to win a gold medal in a Winter Olympics as a member of the U.S. Bobsled Team in Salt Lake City in 2002. Now a retired member of Team USA, Flowers is an Olympic ambassador.

“I constantly battle dry hair and need products that are easy and accessible,” Flowers says. “Pantene Relaxed & Natural Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner for women of color that helps keep my hair from breaking during styling and leaves it smooth and moisturized.”

Way to go gals!  Now we know you rely on some of the same products we do!
