You know I’m pretty picky about my bath products, and sometimes when I find a brand I haven’t tried yet and the price is right–I become skeptical, as in: There is no way this will meet my bath & body preferences! I hadn’t tried out the Bodycology line of products yet, so when I had a chance to try out the new Rich & Creamy Body Wash that launched this month at Walgreen’s stores for $4.99, I gladly became the guinea pig!
With three formulas available: Skin Softening, Nourishing, and Hydrating, I tried out the Nourishing formula (white bottle). I’m hesitant to call this a shower gel at all, because it really is a rich and creamy body wash as the name implies. I’m not sure what the other two formulas are fragranced like–but Nourishing is a very soft shea butter and soy milk (I detect a hint of vanilla) fragrance. It rinses off my skin clean, lightly lathers, it’s perfect to shave with, and doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped or dry. Success at $4.99 for a generous 18 ounces! I’ll definitely be paying more attention to other products from Bodycology in the beauty aisle at my local Walgreens.
Hydrating — Aloe Vera and Vitamin E
Nourishing — Soy Milk and Shea Butter
Skin Softening — Silk Extracts and Avocado Oil

While leaving my local Walgreens yesterday they had the Bodycology products near the checkout. I only noticed the pink bottle and the white bottle When I asked about the third color they sent me to cosmetics. They said the third color (blue) had been recalled but didn’t know why. So I had to sniff each one. The vanilla was very vanilla so if that is your scent, go for it. I chose the pink bottle – Skin Softening and loved it. Didn’t dry out my skin and had a very pleasant scent, not overwhelming, just very pretty. AND the best part through March 27th they are on sale for only $2.99. So, today I had to go back for some other things and picked up another bottle because I really like it and it was such a bargain at that price. Don’t think you will be disappointed. Try it – you’ll like it!!!!!
$2.99? That’s almost half-price! Thanks for the alert
I didn’t know about the blue being recalled, I’ll see if I can find out any reason why. Glad you liked it too, it sounds like we both had good experiences!
