I can’t tell you how many times I’ve stared longingly at bottles of color-enhancing shampoos in the beauty aisles.  As someone who has jet black hair, I haven’t really found many that accommodate my hair color as the darkest I can usually find is brunette.  Seeing Giovanni’s ColorFlage line of shampoos and conditioners nearly made my heart skip a beat…there’s a beautiful black color-enhancing shampoo and conditioner combo called ColorFlage Boldly Black as well a formula for your shade too.  Yay!

Boldly Black Shampoo & Conditioner
Beautifully Blonde Shampoo & Conditioner
Brazenly Brunette Shampoo & Conditioner
Remarkably Red Shampoo & Conditioner
Perfectly Platinum Shampoo & Conditioner

Check out how pearly and shiny the Boldly Black formula is:

I love the way the shampoo and conditioner smells, it’s fresh & fruity.  After using both products, I felt like my hair looked like my existing color had a the equivalent of a shiny topcoat applied to it!  Boldly Black definitely enhanced it and gave it incredible gloss while making my hair feel great as well.  Here’s a photo I snagged from my recent White Sands Velcro Strips review where I had just used Giovanni ColorFlage:

Of course I haven’t tried any of the other Giovanni ColorFlage products so I can’t really speak to their efficacy, but please let us know if you have any experience with them!  Boldly Black uses several certified organic ingredients in it’s formula like licorice extract, boysenberry, and blackberry.  I give Giovanni ColorFlage a thumbs up!

WAHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!! I live in Cyprus & I can’t find this product anywhere, or find anyone who will ship it to me for a reasonable price !!!! Tried getting Aveda Black Malva here too but was the same story. There is NOTHING for us black-haired girls here at all. This product looks fab & seems a good price too …………..

Hey Erin!

That is incredibly frustrating. I’m so surprised that you can’t even get Aveda there! Thank you for reading all the way from Cyprus!

I haven’t tried this, but your hair looks great! I use a shampoo from Thailand for black hair. It’s made by Sunsilk and comes out of the bottle as black as the font. I love it. It’s my holy grail. Youtube search :Thailand Sunsilk black shine shampoo. :)

Thanks Melissa! I’m in the process of stripping the black out now, so I’m on to brunette shampoos, lol!
