Not only does this castile soap from Kiss My Face have 101 uses (and more), but it’s truly contributing to world peace!  Peace Soap is a 100% natural all-purpose cleanser that pulls overtime working on just about anything you can think of–it’s safe for use as a bath & body product, you can use it in the kitchen to wash dishes, wash your delicate garments with it… I think the only thing it doesn’t do is actually scrub your kitchen floor for you.  Where the world peace thing comes in?  Kiss My Face is donating 10% of the proceeds from Peace Soap to benefit Seeds of Peace.  The unique organization provides an internationally recognized summer camp for children who live in opposing countries of conflict.  Since 1993, the program has brought together over 4,000 young people from the Middle East, South Asia, and the US to teach them leadership, coexistence, and conflict resolution skills.  At Seeds of Peace, participants build the lasting friendships and trust that contribute to peace long after they’ve returned home.

As part of this initiative, Kiss My Face is also sponsoring the Pledge For Peace.  For every 10,000 pledges received (it’s totally free!), they’ll send one camper to the Seeds of Peace summer camp during the 2011 season ($6,000 value).  All you have to do is log on to thepledgeforpeace.com and press the “Like” button or pledge with your email address.

I love this – what a great idea. I have bought “peace Olive Oil” in the past, so this soap is a great idea as well!
