I’ve Gotta Have It: Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream

I’ve been reading about Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream all over the place, and Karla Sugar has excellent swatches of them all.  I’m a little older these days, and perhaps I can’t rock the brights I used to (at least not to the intensity I’d like).  But these lure me in like a moth to a flame!  Make Up For Ever as a brand is incredible for color saturation in their products, and I just wanna get in there and play with all of these!

Aqua Cream promises to be a multi-purpose waterproof pigment in a cream base.  Several of the shades can be used on the lips and cheeks while the others are formulated for eyes and cheeks.  I love crazy liner colors and I spot 5 shades right now I’d wear, no questions asked!  Here’s the shade breakdown:

1 Anthracite — silvery charcoal shimmer
2 Steel — silver gray shimmer
3 Silver – true silver shimmer
4 Snow — white pearl shimmer
5 Peach — peachy pink with gold flecks
6 Fresh Pink — bright pink
7 Fuchsia — hot pink with gold flecks
8 Red — tomato red sheen
9 Coral — bright coral
10 Orange — golden tangerine sheen
11 Gold — yellow gold shimmer
12 Golden Copper — soft copper shimmer
13 Warm Beige — champagne shimmer
14 Satin Brown — warm brown shimmer
15 Taupe — taupe brown shimmer
16 Pink Beige — pinky beige shimmer
17 Plum – burgundy plum shimmer
18 Purple — light lilac shimmer
20 Intense Blue — bright blue sheen
21 Turquoise — vibrant turquoise shimmer
22 Emerald Green — golden green sheen

While I don’t have a true everyday need for a pro mega-waterproof cream makeup, the array of colors itself just makes me want them!  I won’t be frolicking pool-side or at the beach anytime soon just so I’ll have a reason to wear them, sadly.  These babies are Sephora-exclusives and retail for $22 a pop.  Do you ever take a walk on the wild side and wear a bright pop of color?
