Best of Summer: Fragrance

Ahhh summer…soon enough we’ll say “so long” to you and put our sandals and warm weather wares closer to the back of our closets.  But luckily, memories of you will truly linger!  The best of summer fragrances don’t have to go anywhere yet if you don’t want them to.  Not ready to kiss summer goodbye?  Then these are the fragrances to buy…

C.O. Bigelow Lemon & Pomegranate Fragrance Mist — The scent of this body mist makes me want to just start making up words.  “FANTASTICAL” doesn’t even do it justice!  It’s sweet, it’s tart, it’s fresh, and dries down nice and light.  The bright lemon notes will likely remind you of a sunny summer day.

Marc Jacobs Splash in Biscotti — Super light and very sweet (but not too sweet), this biscotti-inspired splash is part patisserie and part fresh freesia blossoms.  Definitely more of a floral than a “food” scent, but the thought sure is nice!  10 (that’s right, ten) ounces means this will last all year long, and then some.

CLEAN Summer Linen –  Just like several other fragrances by CLEAN, once I picked this one up–I could not put it down.  I’d like to think that if the sun itself had a scent, this is what it would smell like!  Summer Linen is packed with a crisp citrus top, a sweet violet and plum middle, with just a tad of musk at the bottom.  Very happy, sunny, and fresh!

Liz Earle Botanical Essence Eau de Parfum No. 1 — This is the fragrance debut from popular UK-based botanical skincare expert, Liz Earle.  The top notes of mandarin, cardamom, and bergamot truly sparkle, but dry down to a woody and warm tonka bean and patchouli base.  Spicy, herbaceous, earthy, and sweet at once; this complex fragrance is as vibrant as can be!
