This product is so new, and so exclusive that I don’t even have access to a proper image of it, and for that I apologize!  I’ve been holding on to a little lab sample tube of the new bareMinerals Naturally Luminous Purifying Facial Cleanser for dear life, as the product is currently only available in lab packaging on QVC, while the RareMinerals skincare line gets a packaging makeover—and moves on over to the prettier side of bareMinerals.  Now there’s no cause for alarm for any RareMinerals skincare lovers, I promise!  Your products will be the same skincare essentials you know and love, just in prettier packaging, and going forward they’ll bear the bareMinerals name instead of RareMinerals.  It might sound confusing, but honestly, it’s not and the only thing that’s going to change after that is—bareMinerals will continue to rock out even more awesome skincare innovations under the “bare” name to join the products that were originally branded under “Rare”.  This will result in an expanded line of skincare must-haves, while allowing BE to continue to grow the line into even more new products we love!  It’s a good thing, I promise!

Sorry for getting off course about the cleanser, but I just wanted to try to help clear up any confusion that may pop up during the brand’s transition.  My whole point was to tell you why I’m currently loving the cleanser… oh yeah!  This mild facial cleanser is for all ages and skin types, yet it still gets the job done!  It’s perfect for removing makeup and impurities without stripping or drying out the skin, and leaves my face feeling hydrated and fresh without stinging my eyes.  When I apply it with a little warm water to clean my skin, it results in a nice light creamy lather without any overpowering fragrances.  Just a very mild and fresh scent derived from their ActiveSoil Complex, lavender oil, and other natural extracts.  It’s so light and mild that I couldn’t imagine it not working for almost everyone!  To be totally honest, this cleanser reminds me very much of Philosophy’s Purity.  While it’s not an exact dupe of Purity (and bareMinerals is not making the Purity comparison; I am), I will say that as a Purity lover—this is in the same ballpark!  Gentle, effective, great for all ages, skin types, and men or women… and I don’t even have to twist Mr. Beauty Junkie’s arm to use it.  However, now he’ll have to wait until I buy the full size since this sample tube isn’t going to last much longer!

This is the perfect basic, all-in-one facial cleanser for everyone.  It doesn’t surprise me that at the time of this posting, there are currently 332 reviews on QVC.com from customers that have awarded the Purifying Facial Cleanser with five stars!  We should see this more widely released in 2011 at other retailers in it’s new packaging, along with some new products from the bareMinerals skincare collection.  Can’t wait!

Dear fellow beauty junkies—what’s your favorite facial cleanser?
