I need a favor! Pretty please? With a cherry on top?

I think it’s safe to say in terms of favors—I don’t really ask for many… but I’m going to ask you for one right now.  And I’m even going to ask you: PRETTY PLEASE?  WITH A CHERRY ON TOP? Imagine me looking up at you right now with my hands clasped together and I’m on my knees.  Pathetic, isn’t it?  I know you want me to stop, and here’s what’s going to make me stop:

After you read this, please go directly to the Clairol Natural Instincts Hair Color Challenge and vote for my friend Paula W. from Oklahoma.  She is now 1 of 5 finalists in their national hair color challenge!  Isn’t that awesome?  If she wins, the Grand Prize is a trip for two to NYC, $1000 spending money, a makeover with a celebrity colorist, and she’ll appear in a Natural Instincts how-to video.

As a part of the beauty blogosphere—you may even already know Paula from her site, Older Girl Beauty. She’s hell of funny and she’s got a heart of gold.  She is one of the nicest people I know and I can often count on her for daily giggles through her Twitter feed.  Paula is always there to perk me up or give me a good pep talk when I need one too.  So let’s help her out, what do you say?

  • Voting starts at 8:00:00 AM ET on 10/7/10 and goes through 11:59:59 PM ET on 10/14/10
  • Go to http://www.clairol.com/naturalinstincts/challenge/contest.jsp and click on the “America Votes” tab
  • Vote for Paula W. from Oklahoma
  • Rules state one vote per email address per day – so, international folks are able to vote daily too

    I voted. I just wished it let you know the vote went through. I wasn’t sure so I tried again and then under where you type your email name in small print it says you can only vote once a day and to try again tomorrow.
    I wish they’d show a Thank You for your vote in larger letting.
    Anyways, I put it in my favorites so I’ll remember to vote for her once a day through the 14th. I like her after picture and looking at all the pictures I think she should win.
