L’Oreal Wants To Rescue Your Roots!

in giveaways,hair products

Anyone who knows me is aware that I will stretch out retouching my hair color for as long as I possibly can.  I’ll pull every trick in the book just to squeeze one more day out of it!  I’ll tease my hair and wear it up to try to camouflage my roots, wear a hat, or even get really creative with hair parts.  Sometimes I’ll part my hair where it naturally parts and apply color just there to squeak by, because I don’t have the time (or the energy) to do an entire root retouch on the spot.  I’m a former stylist/colorist that cannot stand coloring my own hair… if that isn’t irony—I don’t know what is!  There are recent introductions to the at-home hair color market that can make this dilemma a little bit less challenging for anyone who can sympathize me though…

L’Oréal Root Rescue is quick and easy way to retouch grey roots in as little as 10 minutes.  The unique brush applicator makes sure you’re only depositing color exactly where you need it, and it’s low-ammonia formula features a built-in conditioner.  Available in 12 shades—you should be able to find a perfect match!

Need a little root rescue?  Say no more.  L’Oréal Paris is offering three Beauty Junkies Unite readers a chance to win one shade of Root Rescue of their choice.  Here’s how easy it is to have a shot at your chance:

1. Visit the L’Oréal Paris Root Rescue page to pick your closest match from one of the 12 shades. (Completely optional, but totally helpful–watch this video that shows how to use Root Rescue to answer your product usage questions.  If you need more help finding a match, try the Root Rescue matching guide here.)

2. Leave a comment on this post with the name of the specific L’Oréal Root Rescue shade you’ve determined best suits your needs. (Only one entry allowed per person for this giveaway.)

That’s it!  I’ll close this giveaway at 6:59pm EST on Monday, December 13th and select three (3) winners at random.  I’ll contact them by email to verify their U.S. shipping addresses and shade selections.  Happy coloring!

Details: One (1) entry allowed per person, 18+, U.S. only, void where prohibited.  The winners will have 24 hours to reply to the notification message to verify their U.S. shipping address.  After 24 hours, the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected, so make sure to check your spam folders!  Comments are moderated to prevent spam and are approved on a daily basis.  If your comment does not immediately appear, valid entries will be approved before the giveaway is closed, please don’t keep repeating your entry if it does not immediately appear.

This prize has been generously sponsored by L’Oréal Paris.  Beauty Junkies Unite makes no warranties as to the effectiveness or quality of any product.

UPDATE: This giveaway has ended and comments are now closed.  The winners will be contacted by email shortly, an announcement will be made here soon after.  Thank you!  UPDATED 12/13 @ 4:40pm PST—these winners were just contacted by email: freebiegoddess03, charliegurl57, and kristen702

Thank you again for all of your participation, new giveaways are going up soon!

8 Medium Blonde should work for me although being a mad scientist at heart, I actually mix 8 & 9 together for my hair, so I guess that would make me an 8.5. Thanks for helping us squeak out some (more) time between colorings.
