Over the holidays, I compared some lust-worthy (and costly) products to help you achieve some of the hottest trends—but it’s time to lighten-up! Spring is on the way, so if you’re dealing with snow and/or cold weather, just remember…it will not last forever. (I hope that’s a happy thought that helps you soldier through!) Here are some new suggestions for lust-worthy products paired up with their must-buy counterparts.

LUST — Stila Make Me Blush Palette

This incredibly cute multi-color blush from Stila is perfect for Valentine’s Day and will get you through spring with it’s perky colors, at a price of $14. Soft color and luminosity in one step is a dream come true!

MUST — Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush

Add a similar, lit-from-within glow for a few bucks less with this one instead! At a suggested retail price of $11.95, there are often sales and coupons from this favorite drugstore brand that will make it even more of a steal. Get your glow on with soft iridescence and radiance on the cheap.

LUST — Clarisonic Mia Skin Sonic Cleansing System

For many people, this is their skin’s BFF—but it might not be so practical at $149. I’m a fan of my own Clarisonic Mia, and I’ve been singing it’s praises for over the past year. It goes where no washcloth has ever been before when it comes to removing debris on your face!

MUST — OLAY Professional Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System

After giving up my Clarisonic for a few days and using the regular wash-cloth method—I put OLAY’s rotating facial brush to the test for a week. For $29.99, I don’t think you can beat this deal with a stick! While I may not be able to scientifically prove my skin was as clean as when I use my Clarisonic, I can say that it sure looked and felt great! I paired up the brush each night with the exfoliating cleanser that was included with my unit, and was very pleased.

LUST — Caudalie Fleur De Vigne Shower Gel

This French skincare line has harnessed the power of grape seed polyphenols, and were the pioneers of showing the world how incredibly beneficial the antioxidant-rich grapevine is.  $12 will make your skin feel like it’s bathing in the lap of luxury in the shower with this body wash from Caudalie.

MUST — Tone Vino Moisture Body Wash with Crushed Grape & Shea Butter

Using a similar theory, Tone celebrates the properties of red wine that make it super beneficial for the skin. For a mere $3.99, you can send your skin to the spa too! While this won’t be available until late February/March, I tried Vino Moisture out and loved the aroma and silkiness it left behind. Look for it soon!

LUST — Pureology SuperSmooth Smoothing Elixir

I love Pureology for it’s abilities to perform, while improving the integrity of the hair strand. Smoothing Elixir leaves frizzy and out-of-control hair, shiny and manageable without weighing it down or feeling oily—but it will also cost about $30.

MUST — L’Oreal EverSleek Frizz Taming Creme Serum

Like Pureology, this product is paraben, sulfate, and silicone free! Somehow, this serum works wonders on hair that’s difficult to handle or lacking vibrancy. About $8.99 will score you this great smelling, hard working, and long lasting creamy serum. I love that it has argan oil in it—it’s my current ingredient crush!

LUST — Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

I have to say, this foundation is pretty fantastic—and if I was forced to spend the $59.50 on it, I’d probably only half-grimace while I handed over my cash. It’s luxe, it makes skin look like skin (but better), and it glides on like a dream. If you can score a sample of it…do it!

MUST — COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Silk Foundation

This is the must-have foundation of 2011, and for about $11.99—you’ll see why! It feels so light and airy, but leaves the skin looking healthy; with coverage you can build without looking cake-y. It’s incredibly innovative for a drugstore-brand and uses several new-to-market natural ingredients that you won’t find in other budget-friendly foundations.
