New this month, Clairol is introducing us to Nice ‘n Easy Color Blend Foam, a permanent hair color product with a unique foaming delivery system to ensure cleaner, easier application—without drips. It’s about time!
I tried Color Blend Foam out and was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was. After mixing, the color foams up, and is dispensed through a squeeze bottle. Applying is as easy as shampooing your hair, as you rub dollops of the foam in—then leave it on for 25 minutes. Rinse it out, apply the deep conditioning treatment…and you’re finished. It’s seriously easy! The only thing I can think of that would make this product better is if it were available as a semi-permanent color.
A few tips…
- Since you’re applying this color with your hands, I wouldn’t recommend Color Blend Foam if you’re trying to retouch your base color if you have a lot of highlights (unless you’re trying to cover them)—it might be difficult to keep the color off of them. But if you have a single process color, this is an easy-to-use, mess-free product.
- Try to stay within 2 shades of your existing hair color, and remember that hair color can’t lift existing color. So if you’ve already got color on your hair, you won’t be able to make it lighter with Color Blend Foam. Stay at your existing level, or go 1-2 shades darker (at the max) for best results.
