Any brand knows that if they are going to call something “Pretty Amazing”, it had better deliver…or else! Luckily, the new bareMinerals Pretty Amazing Lipcolors are oh-so-worthy of their name. These won’t be available until May, but here’s your sneak peek at the eight new shades of something special for your lips!

Pretty Amazing is combination of a liquid lipstick and lip gloss that delivers extraordinary color and shine. It’s long-wearing, but non-drying—and the pigmentation is just absolutely outrageous.
Here’s the shade breakdown:
- Bravado — brick rose
- Charisma — coral pink
- Ambition — fuchsia
- Courage — warm strawberry
- Fearless — rosy mauve
- Free Will — pink nude
- Moxie — bright petal pink
- Strength — vibrant red

I know, right? So, so incredibly gorgeous! These feel so creamy and cushion-y on the lips that it’s unbelievable…and the shine! It’s not quite patent-leather shine, but it is a high shine finish. I really dig the applicator, it’s a flexible paddle that allows you to apply Pretty Amazing with precision. The tip is just thin enough to allow you to line your lips with it as well. I don’t detect any fragrance or flavor, so this should be a good fit for just about anyone. bareMinerals really outdid themselves this time!

Price & Availability: $16 each; May 2011 at Bare Escentuals boutiques, bareescentuals.com, Sephora, ULTA, and select Macy’s and Nordstrom stores.

WOW love these colors! Moxie is my fave
BE does it again… can’t get enough of these natural products!
I want 6 of the eight, lol! These look like something I *need* to try. As long as the wear-time is decent and they don’t bleed I think I’ll be in love.
Hi Cara & Lorraine! These are pretty darn fab!
Lorraine, I’m not sure of what other long-wear colors you’ve tried…but these *might* last a little less than those that are more drying due to the creamy factor. I could possibly see the red bleeding a little if you’re dry around your lips. Try the Reversible Lipliner from CARGO or the Borderline Lip Liner from Too Faced with any lip product that bleeds and you’ll be happy!
Is Strength more warm or cool?
Hi Karen,
I could see it going either way! On me, since I have such fair skin and pink undertones, it looks more blue—but I could see it warming up on a warmer skin tone for sure depending on the pigment in the lips. Hope that makes sense! It’s right on the border.
