New from Stila for summer, these Sparkle Waterproof Liquid Eye Liners are complete hotness! Anything but ordinary, they’re available in eight fun shades. One of the hottest trends right now is a liner that adds a bright pop of color—these are perfect! There’s a tapered sponge-tip applicator, none of that thin and messy wayward brush stuff here. In addition to the fun shades, there’s a micro-pearl sparkle effect in them to add a twinkle to your eyes.
I tried out three shades; Bora Bora (sparkling turquoise), Royal (sparkling electric purple), and Sequins (sparkling black). Each of them had incredible staying power and are definitely waterproof, but I could hardly get Bora Bora to budge, even with cleansing oil! It left behind a faint turquoise stain, so when you wear it—be prepared.

The more pressure you apply to the tip, the thicker the line will be. I thought they were very easy to use (even for someone who doesn’t usually wear liquid eye liner), and stayed in place as promised. Make sure you’ve got a great oil-based waterproof eye makeup remover at the ready when it comes to removal time, otherwise you’ll have a tough time!
