As a brand ambassador for AVEENO, I’m learning so much about how small changes lead to bigger things when it comes to being more environmentally responsible. I’m happy to say, that since I partnered with AVEENO, I’ve become so much more self-aware of my own responsibilities as an inhabitant of this planet—you’d be amazed too at how impactful the “little things” are, and just how easy it is to incorporate them into your daily routine. A few things I’ve started doing as result of my partnership with the brand and my efforts to become an Active Natural…
- My husband and I will no longer drive when we need to go to Hollywood or downtown. We utilize the small underground railway system that links us. We save money, time, and cut down on vehicle emissions at the same time!
- I’ve started swapping out all of our old “regular” light bulbs for more energy efficient ones that use less wattage, yet work just as well—if not better. We save money on our electricity bill, the bulbs last longer, and they conserve energy.
- I’ve planted seeds for a houseplant. Not only does it beautify my home, but it helps turn CO2 into clean oxygen. I’ve also potted an outdoor plant for my balcony for the same reasons. I’ll definitely be adding more as they come into season!
- I refuse plastic bags at stores. If I’m not carrying my own totes for any reason, I request paper or just tuck the item in my handbag if it’s small enough.
These small changes have been so easy, that I’m almost embarrassed that I wasn’t already doing them. I know I’m not perfect when it comes to being more responsible, but partnering with AVEENO has made me realize that beautiful change starts with a single step!
