Have you heard of Miracle Skin Transformer yet? I received a small sample of this baby last week and I’ve been nuts over it ever since. MST is a hybrid of several products; it’s part tinted moisturizer, part skin enhancer/primer, moisturizer and an SPF 20 at the same time. Pretty impressive, to say the least.
I don’t know what it is that I love most—the lightweight feel, the silky texture it leaves behind, the hint of coverage, or the blend of antioxidants and vitamins it delivers to my mid-thirties skin. Good thing I don’t have to decide…because this has been doing it all, while providing broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection too! Don’t expect this to offer a lot of coverage, it’s about the same light coverage as a tinted moisturizer, but it is slightly buildable and can also be set with a finishing powder if you prefer.
The benefits I get from MST are plentiful, it blurs fine lines and gives off the illusion of smaller pores due to it’s naturally-derived silicone base. Its light tint is just enough for days that don’t call for full foundation, or when I don’t want to wear anything else. I feel like I can get away with skipping moisturizer and sunscreen with Miracle Skin Transformer, because it has all of my bases covered. This is such a multi-tasking and forgiving product! I’ve found that even though I am fair, I can get away with wearing the medium tint—but it’s available in several mineral-based shades and one translucent option. (When in doubt, go up one shade.) If you prefer light coverage and don’t like layering several products, MST might be for you—but I don’t see this having the staying power for those with excessively oily skin. I’m looking forward to picking up a full-size tube because it’s going to be the perfect product for a hot Southern California summer!
