Exclusively for July, Milani launched several exciting and colorful products at CVS locations—and I have a peek at them for you in case you haven’t seen them yet. They’re coming up this week in different posts as not to overwhelm you at once, but here are a few shades of the latest High Speed Fast Dry One Coat Formula Nail Lacquers.
Racy Green is a shimmering teal that looked great after just one coat, and dried quickly too—in about a minute!
Jiffy Orange is a vibrant tangelo cream that I felt looked best after two coats. Despite having two coats—this dried fairly quickly, but not quite 60 seconds due to the extra coat.
Yellow Whiz is a bright lemon yellow cream that had a little minor balding after one coat—but still had great color saturation, so I applied a light second coat which eliminated the tiny bald spots. Best part—it still dried in a flash.
Violet Dash is a dusty violet cream that also looked great after one coat, but I felt a light second coat could amp up the color saturation a bit so I went for it.
As a whole, the High Speed Fast Dry Collection is a success in my opinion, and if you were truly in a hurry—one coat could get you by—so I don’t feel the one coat claim is misleading. I tend to be a little bit of a perfectionist…which sometimes gets the best of me! Of special note is the new brush, it’s a flat brush which is what I actually prefer. It’s similar to the pro-wide brush that another brand uses…only not as thick and wide. That may drive some of you nuts—but I think it really helps lay the polish down in a nice, clean, and even layer. This formula has a nice flow to it with a glossy finish, and no top coat was used in the swatch photos.
