Who doesn’t love a road trip? If you haven’t taken one this summer, that’s okay—because Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI’s Executive VP & Artistic Director was so inspired by her recent road trip across the USA—she dedicated the entire fall collection to trekking America! The Touring America Collection incorporates rich autumn shades with variations of popular grey and taupe shades, and a few brighter surprises. Here’s the shade breakdown from OPI:

Are We There Yet? — Don’t make me reach back there and take that perfect melon shade!

I Eat Mainely Lobster — We “clawed” through crowds to catch this coral for you.

My Address is “Hollywood” — We put this pretty rose-pink on the map.

Color to Diner For — I’ll take the rosy-red with a side of “awesome.”

Honk if You Love OPI — Don’t let this gorgeous dark grape pass you by.

Road House Blues — In this case…R&B stands for “Really Blue.”

Suzi Takes the Wheel — Buckle up—she’s not stopping until she gets to gray!

French Quarter for Your Thoughts — Want beads? Then show us your sexy gray nails!

Uh-oh Roll Down the Window — You’re gonna wanna pull over for this “unexpected” olive green.

A-taupe the Space Needle — You’ll climb to new heights with this creamy-rich taupe.

Get in the Expresso Lane — An amped-up dark brown that’ll never letcha down!

I Brake for Manicures — This gorgeous eggplant-plum has our full attention.

Swatches:

I Eat Mainely Lobster is a vibrant coral with subtle shimmer.

My Address is “Hollywood” is a creamy rose shade with subtle shimmer.

Are We There Yet? is a juicy melon shade with subtle shimmer.

Suzi Takes the Wheel is a pale grey cream that is slightly greener than the grey in French Quarter For Your Thoughts.

Uh-Oh Roll Down the Window is a dark olive cream.

Road House Blues is an inky dark blue cream that really pops.

I Brake For Manicures is a dark eggplant shade with warm plum undertones.

Honk if You Love OPI is cool-toned grape/dark purple cream.

Get in the Expresso Lane is a rich dark chocolate brown cream.

French Quarter For Your Thoughts is a cool-toned pale grey cream that is slightly more blue than Suzi Takes the Wheel.

Color to Diner For is a slightly dark Americana red with subtle gold and rose shimmer.

A-Taupe the Space Needle is a dark taupe cream with olive undertones.

“This collection will take women around the world on the ultimate tour across the USA, with stops in Baltimore, Clarksdale, Hollywood, Jackson Hole, Memphis, Milwaukee, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia, Seattle, St. Louis, and Tucson,” explains Suzi. “Together, the locales that inspired Touring America make up a rich palette of color complementing trends from the runway, where we saw a mix of feminine details and dramatic menswear touches.”

Clear winners for me out of the Touring America Collection are Road House Blues (I love the inky, dark cobalt tone), Are We There Yet? (ideal for those who aren’t ready to kiss summer goodbye in early fall), and I Brake For Manicures (the perfect autumn eggplant shade). What are your top picks from this fall offering from OPI?
